In Our Community
At Mosaic, we believe in the power of praying together.
Prayer is how we speak to God and listen for God's voice. It's how we bring our whole selves — our joys, our sorrows, our questions, our gratitude — into conversation with the One who loves us completely. When we lift up each other's needs and celebrate each other's blessings, we are strengthened by the faith of our community and reminded that we are never alone.
Each Sunday
Every Sunday service is centered around prayer. We lift up joys and concerns from our community, pray for the sick and grieving, and offer prayers of thanksgiving for God's blessings.
Held in Prayer
Submit a prayer request using the card on this page, or contact the church office to add your request to our Elders' regular prayer gatherings. Your request will be held in prayer by the Elders.
Responding in Prayer
Sometimes prayer is less about speaking and more about listening. Sometimes prayer is about praying slowly the words of Scripture. We offer space for exploring different types of prayer — sitting in silence, journaling, using guided meditation, offering time to discuss — to encounter God's presence together.
A Time for Everything
We believe prayer takes many forms, and we're creating room for all of them.
Sometimes that changes the shape of our worship service. During Lent 2026, we found ourselves weary and decided to make prayer the centerpiece of our worship. Rather than traditional sermons, our Sunday services were devoted entirely to shared contemplation, meditation, silence, song and image. It was an invitation to slow down together, to listen deeply for God's voice, and to encounter one another in the sacred space of prayer.
We also invite you to explore the prayer that YOU need. Whether you prefer silence, movement, music, or spoken word — there is space for you in the practice of prayer at Mosaic Christian Church.
