"Watch what God does, and then you do it... Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with God and learn a life of love."
— Ephesians 5:1-2 (MSG)

Our worship is a response to God's love for us — not just on Sundays, but woven through every part of our lives.

It involves clergy and lay people, young and old. It is ours together.

You Belong Here

What to Expect

Worship at Mosaic is nimble. It changes as we do. We follow where the Spirit leads and where our fellowship needs to go.

You can expect music, prayer, Scripture, and a message — but what that looks like week to week or season to season is shaped by what we are carrying together and how we think the Spirit is asking us to respond.

One thing never changes — you are always welcome.

Come as you are. Every piece belongs.
Outgoing or reserved.
Seeking or settled.
Grieving or celebrating.
Convinced or still figuring it out.
You don't have to be anything other than what you are today.

What matters is that you're here.

Music

Responsive to the Moment

Our music is a gift offered back to God from the whole gathered community. Sometimes our music is upbeat, sometimes meditative, sometimes repeated over weeks or through a season, sometimes old favorites, sometimes brand new.

Scripture & Message

Theological Encounter Together

We take the Scriptures seriously enough to sit with them, argue with them, and let them shape how we understand the world we actually live in. We adapt how we process the ancient text together — whether through traditional sermons, or discussion, extended study of a single passage, or surveys across multiple books of the Bible. We respect each person's ability to encounter the scriptures and value each one's insights.

Community

Clergy & Lay Together

Worship at Mosaic belongs to all of us — young and old, men and women, clergy and laity — because we believe every person's presence and participation matters. We come together as people made in the image of a God who wants to know us and be known by us.

Accessibility

A Place for Everyone

The Lord's Table

"Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life — and place it before God as an offering."

— Romans 12:1 (MSG)

Everything we are and everything we do — all of our everyday lives, and all of our Sunday activities of singing, praying, reading scripture, and preaching — all lead to, and proceed from, Christ's table.

Communion is the highlight and climax of our Sunday service. We meet at the Lord's Table in remembrance of Jesus' greatest act of love. As Disciples of Christ, we embrace Jesus' offering of himself wholly to all people. The Lord's Supper is open to all. And "all" means all.

"These are the Gifts of God, for the People of God. The Table is set. The Feast is prepared. And YOU are welcome."

For Families

Children Are
Part of the Body

At Mosaic, we believe children are an essential piece of our lives. A Sunday might include a Lesson from the Yellow Chair — a special children's message in worship — but we want them to feel welcome beyond that. Children greet, pass out bulletins, read Scripture, and serve as diaconate.

Children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary. Please don't worry about keeping them quiet — we believe those noises are among the most wonderful of the "joyful noises." We expect children to move around and we have a special area in the back of the church with a low table and drawing supplies. Or our "prayground" area on a rug is available with toys for smaller children.

If a child or caregiver prefers, our playroom The Playroma is available after the children's moment, with a teen attendant present. (Pleroma, pronounced "play-ROE-muh," is a biblical Greek word meaning "the fullness of God in Christ" — which we hope all ages find here.)

We take seriously the safety of children and vulnerable individuals. Please see our Safe Conduct Policy for more.
